Christophers Squash Club next door to Wimbledon Dog Stadium is one of our most popular training venue for the Professional Stringer course. We select the best possible facilities so that all of the course members can fully benefit from the two days of enjoyable and informal training. Every aspect of racket servicing is covered and includes tennis, squash and racquetball. Course members are invited to bring along their own rackets to work on, although this is optional. You will achieve the skills, knowledge and confidence to be able to handle any racket servicing task and even to set up and run your own stringing business. This course attracts 12 coaching credits from the LTA and similar points from other racket sports associations. You will receive your printed certificate at the end of the course and there are usually some stringing machines available for purchase. Your tutor will be Liam Nolan, ex-Wimbledon Head Stringer, Davis Cup stringer and you will be shown how to string like the top pros who work at that level. The cost of the two days training is £249.00 and this is payable one month in advance.
Course numbers are kept low to avoid overcrowding, so book early to avoid missing your place. We start at 9.30am and finish at 4.30pm each day. Ample car parking outside, we usually wander over to the Shell garage across the road at lunchtime to grab a sandwich and stretch our legs and course members can bring along their own food if they wish.
